Created by real-life geoscientist, Ellen Kooijman (aka: Alatariel) in collaboration with LEGO Ideas member GlenBricker, this collection of scenes depicts three different professions within the world of natural science. It includes a paleontologist that studies the origin of dinosaurs with her magnifying glass, an astronomer that maps the skies with the help of her telescope, and a chemist that carries out experiments in her lab. The model also includes building instructions and a booklet with information about the creator and professions featured in the set. Alatariel’s original Ideas project was called Female Minifigure Set, because she felt that LEGO did not make enough female minifigures. The project was first submitted on April 29, 2012, and it reached 10,000 supporters on June 10, 2013.
