Forbidden Themes These are the themes and licenses that Lego Ideas will not publish, either because it does not fit their brand values or another company holds the license to produce building toys based on the property. - Shaun of The Dead (Made it to review, rejected for content)
- Firefly (Made it to review, rejected for Content)
- Jaws (All Projects were deleted without notice in 2015)
- Pokemon (License held by Mega Construx)
- Call of Duty (License held by Mega Construx)
- Halo (License held by Mega Construx)
- Any R-Rated Movie (Content)
- Game of Thrones (Do I really need to answer this one?)
- Any TV MA Program (Duh)
- Star Trek (License Held by Mega Construx)
- M-Rated Video Games (Ideas' rules)
- Futurama (Exact reason unknown)
- How to Train Your Dragon (License Held by Competitor)
- Destiny (License held by Mega Construx)
- Any Currently Produced Licensed Lego Theme
This list is actively maintained, and can change if a license ends or a decision is made by LEGO to allow something they previously blocked, so if you see one that is missing please bring it to my attention.

There's also Transformers and Fortnite, and I think Despicable Me is also off.

Overwatch is not allowed at this point because it is a current theme. Obviously they were fine with making it.

ArmoredBricks, That was based on my own personal experience with ideas at the time of writing. Jon_McL, Well surprise surprise the despicable me license jumped ship to Lego, so now it's disallowed under the current theme rules. I've given the list a brief update while I was around to make it a little more useful.
