Foreword

The main aim of this forum is to create friendly community place for LEGO® Ideas fans. The place where anyone can receive as well as contribute and share. Please maintain your behavior in order to keep this enviroment fair, friendly and solidary. Following Forum Rules are not by far exhaustive; please use common sense to follow it's intent.


Being active member is beneficial both for the community and for you. Not only that you become visible and respected but we also reward active members by promoting their projects on forum's Homepage.


Writing some more complex post (i.e. promoting your project, creating tutorial...), try to make it comprehensive. This forum uses BBCode syntax and some of it's features are explained in this post.


Don't hesitate with asking for advice or help, also please report any issues you might run into within this forum including any violation of following rules you might encounter.


Last but not least - remember that we are not actually competing with each other on LEGO® Ideas. True, when it comes to review stage, there may be some competition. But on the long way to 10,000 supports we are more like allies. And the best way how to get support is give out plenty by yourself!



Forum Rules

Spam as well as irrelevant or irritating posts or messages will not be tolerated.

Please bear in mind that repetitive sharing and promoting of your project is also considered spam.

Even in disagreement, keep the discussion constructive and respectful. Don't be hostile or insulting and don't provoke arguments.

Members from all countries are welcome but we only allow English on this forum. There is also zero tollerance for rude language.

Please help us protect younger audience by reporting any instance of indecent language.

Keep your comments related to given topic and watch their content. Prohibited content in posts involves but is not limited to the following: hate speech, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, politics, religion, sex, pirated software/warez, gambling, fraud, nudity, pornography, illegal, racist or demeaning content as well as any kind of content containing realistic or extreme violence, or content intended to shock or disgust.

There is an Off-Topic board prepared for your not LEGO related discussion or any other discussion that does not fit into General Discussion. Please moderate your own use of this board. If you create too many threads that are unnecessary, you will become eligible to receive a warning from the staff.

We are completely fine with you advertising your personal website or other LEGO® related sites and forums, as long as it relates to this community and will not take advantage of or affect our community members in a negative manner. However, you may NOT not post any advertisements without checking with the Staff first. Advertisements posted without permission will be deleted.

The exception to this rule is sharing your LEGO® related Flickr or MOCpages galeries and promoting your LEGO® Ideas projects in Promote Your Project thread. We request you to moderate your use of this thread; if you have many projects on LEGO® Ideas, consider combining some into the same post. Overusing the thread will cause other members trouble and ultimately make your project less visible.

There is no link between forum accounts and LEGO® Ideas accounts. Therefore we will investigate any reported attempt for impersonation. Unfortunately, we can't check in advance whether given username belongs to someone else on LEGO® Ideas.

To prevent problems, we strongly recommend using the same username here and on LEGO® Ideas. If your username is already taken or if you suspect that someone is trying to impersonate you, please contact us via forum email.

We share this rule with LEGO® Ideas. It's prohibited to operate more than one account on this forum.

  1. Your avatar must comply with Forum Rules.

  2. Don’t upload an avatar showing a child under 13 years old. Images of children who appear to be under 13 will be removed to comply with international child safety laws.

  3. Do not use avatars that do not belong to you.

  4. We recommend using the same avatar as on your LEGO® Ideas profile
